International Tea Academy maybe able to help you find a job as a Tea Sommelier instructor. We are actively looking for motivated, inspiring, talented individuals with a positive attitude and passion for this program to teach. If you fit this criteria, we may have teaching positions for you. We will also help you promote yourself and or school once you become a certified teacher.

Before to take our teacher training program, we suggest you check our ITA Certified Tea Sommelier program. We have 5 levels of ITA Certified Tea Sommelier programs match with 5 levels of ITA Certified Tea-Cher programs. Upon completing each Levels both Tea Sommelier programs and Tea-Cher programs, you will have your Instructor Certification for that level of Tea Sommelier.

5 Levels of ITA Certified Tea-Cher Training

> #1 Foundation Level

COMMITMENT
8 hours living training (1 day), 4 hours online course full lifetime access, Professional Tea-Cher Training manual, Updated Teaching manual every year.
CERTIFICATION
Once you pass the four tests above, you’ll get the official ITA Certified Tea Instructor - Foundation Level Certification and lapel pin.
CERTIFICATION VALID PERIOD
Annually

> #2 Intermediate Level

COMMITMENT
16 hours living training (2 day), over 3 hours online course full lifetime access, Professional Tea-Cher Training manual, updated Teaching manual every year.
CERTIFICATION
Once you pass the four tests above, you’ll get the official ITA Certified Tea Instructor - Intermediate Level Certification and lapel pin.
CERTIFICATION VALID PERIOD
Annually

> #3 Advanced level

COMMITMENT
24 hours living training (3 day), over 3 hours online course full lifetime access, Professional Tea-Cher Training manual, Updated Teaching manual every year.
CERTIFICATION
Once you pass the four tests above, you’ll get the official ITA Certified Tea Instructor - Milestone Level Certification and lapel pin.
CERTIFICATION VALID PERIOD
Annually

> #4 Mastery Level

COMMITMENT
16 hours living training (2 day), over 3 hours online course full lifetime access, Professional Tea-Cher Training manual, Updated Teaching manual every year.
CERTIFICATION
Once you pass the four tests above, you’ll get the official ITA Certified Tea Instructor- Mastery Level Certification and lapel pin.
CERTIFICATION VALID PERIOD
Annually

> #5 ITA Certified Full Instructor

This is only for those who have already completed highest level #5 ITA Certified Tea Sommelier training and achieved the certification. If you want to become a full instructor of International Tea Academy, you must complete all of the ITA Certified Tea-Cher training levels listed above. If you want to fast track you can apply for a personal, private training program.

CERTIFICATION VALID PERIOD

ITA Certified Tea Instructor Test

This training program teaches the philosophy of each level in depth:

-Prepares the student to learn how to teach the content to their potential students

-How to run a ITA Certified tea school and more.

Once the teacher has completed the training program they will be tested to ensure they understand the knowledge. By the end of the training the student will take four tests:
(a) Written test
(b) Perform the related each levels of tea sommelier set to standard. This performance will be video taped and then go through an analyzation process wherein the student will have to be able to correct their own mistakes.
(c) Teach mock classes.
(d) Complete required reading and essays. Here the student will have to teach one to two mock classes. Upon successful completion of the above mentioned requirements student is ready to receive their teaching certificate based on the level they choose to be trained.
